
To enhance unified communications across a custom-built CRM, I implemented a full-featured RingCentral integration that goes far beyond basic telephony. This solution provides deep synchronization between RingCentral's voice, SMS, user presence, call analytics, and administrative data, creating a centralized communications layer inside the CRM.
All RingCentral API interactions were handled server-side through Supabase Edge Functions, ensuring secure, low-latency communication between the client and provider. These serverless functions also processed webhook events, maintained real-time states, and updated Supabase PostgreSQL tables with normalized data structures for UI consumption and analytics.
